In the last week of the month, a save the date flyer will be posted with dates, neighborhoods, and times for each of the walks for the upcoming month. (i.e the June Schedule is posted May 31st). Mark your calendars with these dates so you know when we’re walking!
Then, the Monday before the walk every week, a flyer is posted with all of the details for that week, including an exact start address, parking details, stroller/pet friendliness details, and any other important information.

Every week is different! One of the goals of South Coast Girls walk is to get out and explore our local area, discover new small businesses, and get out of our normal routine. Walks take place all across the South Coast and sometimes a little beyond! All details will be posted the week of the event so you know where to go and what to expect

Walks will typically take 40 minutes to 1 hour on average and are anywhere from 2.5 to 3.5 miles. Not a fast walker? That’s ok! Walk at your own pace, it's not a race, and there’s no time limit!
-
No! There’s no need to sign up for any of our scheduled events! Just show up to the location listed on the walk flyer at the listed time and join us!
-
Typically, we ask that little ones stay at home during our designated walking time. We hope you’ll take this time to connect, recharge, and enjoy a little “me time” with fellow adults. That said, we will note if a walk is stroller friendly as we understand it is not always possible to leave the little ones home.
Please note, many of our walks are on main roads, include heavy traffic, uneven terrain, and are not suited for small children.
-
Our team monitors the weather closely and will notify the team within 2 hours of the designated walk time if there is a change in the schedule. These changes are posted across our social media channels for our community.

Yes! Our group is dog-friendly, and we’d love to meet your furry friends. If your dog is fully vaccinated, leashed, and comfortable around other dogs, feel free to bring them along! Most of our walks will take place in dog-friendly areas. However, please note that we will often be visiting small businesses and cafes where dogs may not be permitted. If a location doesn’t allow dogs, it will be noted on the walking schedule in advance.
